Summer Vacay's

Danny normally goes down to St. George and plays in the summer games with his brother and some friends each year but this year they couldn't find enough guys to play.  Instead Danny and his brother with two friends went down to St. George to just play golf and relax.  I told him to take some pictures but of course he is awful at that and didn't.  Oh well, my trips have pics and his do not.

I on the other hand flew up to Moscow, ID to spend a week helping my sister with her girls while her husband was at a conference in Mexico.  I flew up last Sunday and came home yesterday.  I spent every day with the girls doing whatever they wanted.  Aspen is 8 and Milly is 6.  We had so much fun!!
Day 1: Went to the park to play right away.
And went to another park that had a pond.
Milly is in gymnastics and we had to take her Monday and Wednesday.  She loves to tell everyone that she is in a higher level class than her older sister.  She is really awesome but such a stinker about it.
Aspen had to show me how fabulous her handstands are while we were waiting for Milly.
Milly on the bar.
Milly on the balance beam.
Day 3:  We went to the public pool that has a huge water slide I went down with Aspen.  Milly was 1 inch to short and I felt terrible that she couldn't go with us.
Milly :)
Milly coming down the little kid water slide.  She is extremely tiny for her age and made the largest splash when she came out the bottom.  It made me laugh so hard every time.
Sassy Aspen :)
Aspen LOVES to draw.  She was these Crayola body art crayons and drew an awesome rose on the top of my foot.  I was way impressed!
Finished product.
Day 4:  We got all dolled up to walk around the 1 street of Downtown Moscow.  It is an extremely tiny town and reminds me a lot of Cedar City but smaller.  Aspen even applied her own eye liner :)  They are such cute girls.  We went to an art store, rock shop and of course the toy store.
Day 5: The girls wanted to take me to this Appaloosa Horse Museum.  We are sitting in the kid section on all the different kinds of saddles you can ride.  They read me stories about horses and we did a museum scavenger hunt.
Me on my saddle.
Day 6:  Aspen and I at the park reading on the blanket.
Milly on the slide at the park.
Aspen.
Milly.
The girls also took me to the Arboretum at ISU and we walked around for about 3 hours looking at trees and playing around the ponds.  Who knew they would love it so much.  They are
like little adults and I love it!!

Saturday Morning we went to their Farmers Market and bought some delish Cherries.

My sis Meg and me at lunch!
We went to visit Aspens best friends Ella and Amelia.  They are twins and they live in this adorable blown up doll house.  I had to take a picture because it could be the cutest house I have ever seen for three little girls to grow up in.  It is a light yellow with light purple trim and a dark purple door.
Saturday night the girls helped me clean the house so well that I took them out for ice cream at Baskin Robins.  They said I am the best aunt ever for letting them get the cone with sprinkles and toppings on their ice cream.  I love them so much!!!  I hate how far away they live :(
