Dallas Brainstorming Conference
Rochelle, Heather and I went to a brainstorming conference for work in Dallas, TX. We learned a lot, went to lots of classes and had tons of fun! I really love these gals :)
This was our first night in Dallas at dinner. We walked to this awesome Italian restaurant and then had to take a cab back to the hotel because of a crazy flash flood.
Waiting for the train to take us to the mall!
On the crazy train that smelled like a cow ranch, it was really gross!
I just wanted a pick at one of our stops by the itinerary.
This pond with ducks and turtles was in the middle of the mall! It was crazy
We found this cupcake shop in the mall that we had to stop at. It was soooo good!!
Heather eating her cupcake.
This weird statue was in the mall, this pic was a must!
We walked to dinner the next night and went to an authentic southern restaurant that was really really nice! So nice that nothing on the menu looked good at all. I found some deep fried chicken and macaroni and it worked out ok just very very greasy.
Outside the restaurant being a little crazy.
Downtown Dallas in the background.
Rochelle, Heather and me!! Three crazy ladies. Good thing we all had each other on this trip cause who knows how we would have been able to make it around town without 3 brains working.
In the airport on our way home :(

1st NFL Football Sunday
I have to say that I dread this day more than any other day of the year! Danny loves football almost more than life itself. I am writing this because I don't know if this will EVER happen again. Earlier in the week Danny told me he had received two free tickets to the Nation Wide Golf Tournament at Willow Creek Country Club and asked me if I wanted to go with him on Sunday. First, I was very excited that he would even consider doing something other than sit in front of the TV all day on his favorite day of the year. Second, I was slightly nervous to get my hopes up that we would actually be going even if I said yes. So, I told him I would love to go just tell me when and I'll be ready. Lucky for us it was Stake Conference so he watched football all morning and watched his Chicago Bears play. Then, he actually took me to the tournament!! It was so fun to watch the golfers and spend time with my husband outside on a Sunday while football was going on!! I am still shocked that this happened. I love him so much, it really is the little things that make me the happiest!!
Golfing
Danny and I were invited by Nick and Ali to go golfing at Hidden Valley Country Club on Labor Day. We had so much fun! I golfed the best I ever have and this was my first time ever actually playing the entire 18 holes. Ali and I took one cart and the boys took the other. It made it easier since Ali and I had to hit twice as many shots to get to the green. Danny was very surprised by how much fun I was to golf with :) He is such a pain sometimes! I loved every minute of it! Thanks Nick and Ali, you guy are great friends!!

George & Stacy are Expecting
Right in the middle of taking a family picture we found out that George and Stacy are going to be having a baby next February!!! They have been trying for a long time and we are all praying that everything goes perfect. Because she is so ridiculously tiny she already has the most adorable baby bump!!! I love babies in the family and can't wait to have another neice/nephew.
Adler turns 5
Adler had his 5 year old birthay on the 30th and he was so adorable. Every presesnt that he opened he said, "That's just what I always wanted!!!" He is so stinking cute and today he is starting kindergarten. He is getting so big.
Lucas Is Finally Home From Australia
Luke came home from his mission from Melbourne Australia August 11th. He was so exhausted from traveling for 36 hours straight. I thought he was just going to topple over any second. He came home with the cutest accent and some way crazy stories. We missed him so so much and are glad he is home safe.
