1st Church Calling

Today I was stopped in the hall at church and asked to come meet with one of the counselors in the bishopric.  I said I could and had the most nervous feeling I would be getting a calling.  I have NEVER held a calling in church.  Of course I go and I am asked to help in the NURSERY every other week!  18 mo - 3 year old toddlers here I come ;)

We enjoyed a warm, sunny, Sunday picnic in the park, thanks to my fabulous mother-in-law!

My Husband

I have to document this because it has never happened that I remember.  I told Danny that I was going to have a stressful week at work last week so to prepare for my bad attitude (something that is unavoidable with weeks like that).  I am supposed to cook one meal a week while living with my in-laws in order to share some of the responsibility.  I HATE cooking!  That is the last thing I want to do after working all day.  But I do it so that my mother-in-law doesn't have to every night.  My inlaws are FABULOUS by the way!  So last week Thursday rolled around and I remembered I was on dinner duty at 4:30 pm.  I called Danny and was about in tears from stress and not having any clue what to cook on such short notice, so he told me he would take care of cooking rice, and some chicken on the grill!! I was so SHOCKED/AMAZED that he would do that for me.  He knows I hate to cook and if it is just him and I he is great at getting dinner for himself and letting me find something simple.  He even went to the grocery store by himself (this has happened maybe twice since I have known him, six years) and bought spices to put on the chicken.  I have no clue where this guy came from but I would love him to stick around FOREVER!!!  I love him so much for just the small things he does to make my life easier.  He really is a great husband, especially when I am way stressed.  He knows exactly how to calm me down and make everything better.

Utah Jazz Game Day

Here are some pics of the Jazz vs. Denver playoff game that we went to on Friday night.  It was so much fun.  Thanks Nick and Ali for the invite!  We also ran into some strangers while we were there.  Our amazing friends Marc and Kaisi were in town from San Jose, CA and spotted us at the game so we got to hang out for a little while after the game.  I miss them so so so much!

Family and Shopping

I was able to spend some more time with my family Monday night.  I love to play with my nieces and nephew.  They make life so much more worth living!  I can't imagine my life without them.

Playing rescue heros with my nephew Adler.
Aspen snuggling with poppy (my dad)
Adler and poppy doing silly face?
Grandpa LeBaron, Tyler, Jon and Kyle(hidden) playing Rook (a family game my grandpa has played with us since we were old enough to know how to play card games).
Grandma LeBaron and my mom making the bed.  For some reason they always get stuck with all the work while we play.  What would life be like without a mom and grandma?

Then yesterday my sister, sister in law and all my nieces came to Salt Lake to shop all day with me...we found lots of cute stuff.  I have to tell this story.  While we were walking down the mall a lady stopped all of us and told us how adorable the girls were.  She told us she worked for some modeling agency and thought the girls could definitely be children models.  Of course the girls heads got 10 times the size they should be and were squealing all through the mall that they could be models.  They even walked through the mall like they were walking down a cat walk.  It was so funny.  I love that they keep life so interesting.
My sister and me.

Aspen showing off her cute top.
Milly showing her cute top just like her sister.
Ellie showing off a way cute hat and purse.
And of course the girls had to use their quarters to ride the crazy rides at the mall.

Very Eventful Weekend

Danny and I had such a fun weekend.  Saturday Danny golfed while I shopped(something I absolutely needed for my sanity) and then we went to Ali and Kristens supprise birthday party!  It was a success ;)

HaPpY BiRtHdAy LaDiEs!!!

Then my sister and her family were in town from Moscow, Idaho so we went to play at my parents house up in Roy,UT.  I have missed them so much and still have lots more time to spend with them.

Playing...

and posing...

and jumping...

and some dirt digging.

Snuggling and watching Avitar

Playing some crochet with the family

Stacey died first ;(

and some more crochet.

Tea Parties are a must for these crazy kids! (Cookies and Chocolate Milk)

The girls had to see how high grandpa could push them and they loved it!

Next, Sunday night our fabulous friend Brandon Rockwood was able to get some of our friends free lower bowl Jazz tickets to their 4th playoff game.  It was by far the loudest and craziest Jazz game I have ever been too.  Thanks Brandon you Rock!!!
