Crazyness, Birthdays and Fun!

So I decided that no matter how hard I try to get LIFE to do what I want IT DOESN’T happen the way I plan!

I will start off with something I experienced that I hope no one ever gets to see. Last Tuesday, February 16, 2010 I found one of the residents at the apartment community I work at deceased in their apartment. It was not a pretty sight and the way it all happened would make anyone, including me, angry and break your heart all at the same time. Of course everything was taken care of by the police but now I am working on getting the image out of my head. I still can’t go to sleep in my bed alone or close my eyes for very long without seeing their image. If anyone has any suggestions that would be fabulous!

Next on the agenda: Moving in with the In-Laws (This Weekend). As a lot of you already know Danny started working for a new company last June and now has the opportunity to go full commission on his pay checks. This could mean really great pay checks in the future but for now it means moving in with his parents. They are very kind to help us out right now and we definitely appreciate all they do for us.

Also, Danny’s 27th birthday was on Sunday, February 21st so we celebrated with a few of our friends at Bonsai for dinner and then bowling.

Then on Monday the 22th we were invited by Nick and Ali to go to the Jazz vs. Hawks game! We had a blast. Thanks you two. You are great friends and we love you!

Year Full of Fun & Excitement!!!

Last year Danny and I wrote down a BUCKET LIST of about 20 things we wanted to do together last year.  Whenever we couldn't think of something to do we would pull out our list.  This is definately something we will continue to do because of how much fun we had and the success we had fullfiling most of our 2009 BUCKET LIST.  Some of the list was WISHFUL THINKING and other things were very PRACTICAL.

We actually got do almost everything on our list!!!

*Lake Powell (completed - Thanks Crosby Family for the invite, this was my 1st time to Lake Powell)

*St. George/Vegas Vacation (completed with friends)

*San Diego (completed - THANKS kaisi for getting married there!!! It was beautiful)

*Hiking (completed)
*Ice skating (wishful thinking)
*Real salt lake soccer game (completed)

*Hogal zoo (completed)
*Indoor rock climbing (completed)
*Nebraska Huskers Game (Danny completed with his brother and best friend)

*Lagoon (I completed by myself with everyone I work with)
*Seven peaks (moved to 2010 list)
*Dressing up for Halloween (completed for the 1st time together)

*Shoot guns at shooting range (completed)
*Hang gliding at point of the mountain (wishful thinking)
*Visit Sisters family in Idaho (I completed by myself)

*Park city slides/zip line (completed)
*Paintballing (completed)

*Hike zions (moved to 2010 list)
